The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized release, "A strange encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
